BidAMI Memorabilia.Expert is now offering in its Sports Auction the Floyd Mayweather, Jr. had an amateur record of 84-6. He won the Golden Glove championships in 1993 at 116 lbs. and in 1996 at 125 lbs. He also won a bronze medal by reaching the semi-finals in the featherweight division at the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta. Presented here is one of two known fight worn jerseys that he wore in the Golden Gloves and Olympics from his amateur career. It is an American red, white and blue Adidas shirt with USA on the back and white logo striping down the blue sides. It is believed that he wore one red jersey and one blue jersey in the 1995 World Championships and 1996 Olympics.  The size tag is removed in the collar. It shows tremendous wear with a fading Adidas logo. The Jersey was purchased from Roger Mayweather (Floyd’s Uncle) at his home where Floyd was living while his father was in jail as stated from renowned boxing expert Bob Case. Mayweather signed and inscribed the shirt in black felt tip with details of the fights he wore it in, “This is the shirt I wore in the World Championships – 1995 and Olympics Box Off – 1996.” This is a one of kind piece with an amazing signed inscription and impeccable providence from arguably the greatest fighter of all time. Comes with a Full Letter from JSA authenticating the signature and inscription on the Jersey along with a Full handwritten letter from the original owner Bob Case.
