1887 N175 Old Judge Gypsy Queen Nat Hudson (St. Louis Brown’s Champions) SGC 20

Presented is an  extremely RARE Gypsy Queen Brown’s Champions portrait card of Nat Hudson. This card is the same size and general format as N172 Old Judge, but with a slightly different design, including a curved dome framing the portrait above, and featuring advertising for Goodwin’s “Gypsy Queen” brand of tobacco. All N175 Gypsy Queens are rare and distinctive, but a Brown’s Champions portrait example is particularly very RARE. interesting and very distinctive card from the rare and unusual Old Judge-related small-size N175 “Gypsy Queen” set. Only 3 cards ever have been graded from the SGC population report. A HOF example of Pud Galvin graded 1.5 just sold in auction for over $6,900.00.  Last known sale of a N175 Brown Champions Card was back in 2007.  These are RARE! Graded SGC 20  1.5  Fair
