1900-03 Boston Baseball Club (Red Sox) Ticket Stub – SCG

Tickets like the one listed above are extremely rare and even harder to find. The ticket measures 3.5×1.5in and examples of these tickets range from 1900-1911. The reason we can date this particular ticket to 1900-1903 is because the owner (John Taylor) had his facsimile placed on all tickets ranging from 1904-1911. 1903 being the year the Red Sox won their first championship and ticket’s from that year are few and far between. We can not guarantee that this particular ticket is from the championship year but it sure is a possibility. SCG was not specific unfortunately with the exact year of the ticket but we have done extensive research to narrow it down to a 3 year gap. The ticket displays “Boston American League Baseball Club 74 Admission Rain Check Void After 4.5 innings”, there is also a slight tear on the bottom right hand corner of the ticket as seen in the pictures above. Jump on this ticket before it goes back into hiding for another 110 plus years.
