Description
The description for this has been updated. The catalog states the signature is PSA/DNA 9 but it is an 8.
Eddie Collins played on the 1919 White Sox team that threw the World Series but was not in on the fix. “Cocky” was a playing manager of the team from 1924-26 then returned back to his Philadelphia Athletics roots in 1927. In 1927, the Exhibit Supply Company issued a set of 64 cards with each measuring 3-3/8″ x 5-3/8.” This green tinted card from the set shows Collins in a follow-through motion with proper identifiers (name – company info) highlighting both bottom corners. Collins signed boldly across his image in dark black ink. PSA/DNA rated his signature a “8” for quality and encapsulated it for utmost preservation.
