1929 R316 Rogers Hornsby Photo Cubs – SGC

The 1929 Kashin Publications (R316) baseball set holds 101 unnumbered cards measuring 3-1/2” by 4-1/2” and feature black-and-white posed player photographs on the front. The black-and-white photos are bordered in white to the edge and at the bottom of the image is a facsimile of the player’s signature, his team and league, all in black with the latter two printed. These cards have blank backs and four are considered rarer than the rest in Bump Hadley, Jesse J. Haines, Harry Siebold and Phil Todt. Highlights include Hall of Famers like More Berg, Jimmy Foxx, Robert Grove, Haines, Mel Ott, Babe Ruth and Hack Wilson, among many others.

Presented is a photo from the set 1929 R316 Kashin Publications #42 Rogers Hornsby (HOF) – SGC Authentic. Of note, the SGC encapsulation was opened during travel and was re-affixed with tape and the back features glue residue from previous display.
