The book has photos been signed by (18 ) and bios of all of the players – including Hall of Famer Mickey Cochrane (who was the player-manager or the team) as well as other Hall members Hank Greenberg, Charlie Gehringer, and Goose Goslin. Other notables on the team were Carl Fischer, Tommy Bridges, Pete Fox, Chief Hogsett, Marvin Owen, Bill Rogell, Victor Sorrell, JoJo White, Elden L. Auker, Flea Clifton, Frank Doljack, Heinie Schuble, Denny Carroll, and Del Barker. There’s also a brief history of baseball in the Motor City and a great double-spread photo of Navin Field. Signatures are signed in black & blue steel-tip- fountain pen and grade 9-10. Program grades EX Mint. Authentication: JSA Full Letter
In this lot is another Official 1940 scorecard and grades VG.
