1937 New York Yankees World Series Press Pin

In nearly every aspect, the course of baseball’s 1937 season mirrored that of ’36. Once again the Yankees met and conquered the Giants in the Fall Classic. For the Yankee-hosted games in 1937, members of the media received one of these press pins. Now offered, this particular pin is in exemplary Near Mint condition. The very critical eye will note a very slight "pinkish" hue to the central white enamel (universally typical in this species) while the application of the enamel throughout is virtually perfect. As well there’s only a trace of tarnish to the otherwise ideal metallic surfaces. Finally, and impressively, the original nut is included.
