1937 Red Sox vs. Senators Program (Signed by Al Simmons)
Out of stock
This 1937 regular season program witnessed the hometown Red Sox hosting the Washington nine. The piece is pencil-scored through eight innings, and though there are no writings to so indicate, we believe this tilt was played on May 30 (as Boston suffered an 11-4 defeat). The pub is in acceptable Excellent condition, qualified by a very gentle fold and a short separation at the spine. The central feature of this piece, however, is that it holds two autographs on the scorecard. One of them is Wes Ferrell and the other is trong>Al Simmons. Both of these were applied in pencil and both are perfectly clean. The Simmons signing was placed, primarily, against a less-than-optimum background hue, yet it is dimensionally impressive and robust in its strokes.
