Notre Dame signed Reach Football by (27) 1940’s greats.  Jonny Lujack in 1947 won Heisman Trophy winner. Angelo Bertelli won the Heisman Trophy in 1943. Edward Moose Krause was an American football, basketball, and baseball player. Bernie Crimmins was second-team All-America at guard in 1941. Fred C. Miller was an All-American tackle under head coach Knute Rockne at the University of Notre Dame. Other ND greats are  Al Lesko, f.
