1949 Brooklyn Dodgers (Ebbets Field) All-Star Press Pin

Since the inception of All-Star competition (1933), Brooklyn was finally awarded the hosting of that annual celebration in 1949. For that event, the Dodgers’ public relations department prevailed upon Balfour to manufacture the press pins, one of which is here offered. This particular piece, as a function of some very light spotting in the central metallic area, is about EX/MT. The enameling is perfect and, as should be expected, the pin includes its original nut.
