Bowman Gum’s 1950 Football set consists of 144 pieces, each 2-1/16” by 2-1/2”. The set marked Bowman’s return to the football card market after a one-year break. Each card front features clean, captionless, colorized design of a player. This popular issue is recognized as the first full-color, nationally distributed set of the post-World War II era.
