1950s Johnny Logan Game-Used, Signed Bat (w/Inscription)

Description
Johnny Logan didn’t have the world’s strongest arm and might have not been the most imposing figure. But when it came time to produce, Logan was always there to provide a key hit or big play. The starting shortstop for the 1957 World Series champion Milwaukee Braves, used this bat in the early ’50s. This Hillerich & Bradsby model R 43 bat (34 3/4″ and 33.5 ounces) can be traced to the early ’50s due to the centerbrand label in combination with a variation of “Powerized” that has not been seen on mid to later ’50s H&B bats (according to bat expert Vince Malta). Good use is shown with a repaired handle. The finish of the bat has been removed for restoration purposes. “23” is penned on the knob. Logan sealed the deal with a signature near the barrel with the inscription “Mil Braves vs. N.Y. Yankees, 1957 World Series, Johnny Logan.” Letters from Malta and PSA/DNA bat expert John Taube will be forwarded to the winner.
