1950s Pete Fox Game-Worn Tigers Flannel Jersey (Old Timer’s)
Out of stock
Pete Fox was a popular Tiger who played a key role in the team’s 1935 World Series championship. The one-time All-Star wore this Wilson-made size "40" flannel jersey during an Old Timer’s Day game or exhibition contest. It was not worn by Fox during his playing days, according to one jersey expert. Fox was finished playing with the Tigers by 1940.
Each of the identifiers is displayed in felt via two-color formation. "Pete Fox" is chain-stitched to a felt swatch in collar. Sewn in the tail are a Wilson tag and suspended size label.
There are a few moth holes on the verso and there is no number. One noteworthy customization is stretch material added under the arms.
