1950s Ted Williams Autographed Bat

Like many of his contemporaries (see Mickey Mantle and Joe DiMaggio), Ted Williams wasn’t a big fan of signing bats. One person secured the Splendid Splinter’s autograph before he tired of penning his identity on lumber. This vintage autograph is signed "To Chuck" on the barrel end. This Clipper bat (33 1/2") is sanded down where the autograph was applied. The penning rates a stellar "9-10" and makes for a perfect display.
