Ted Williams & Willie Mays Novelty Toy Watch Premium Gumball. This novelty watch made in Japan in the 1950s contained two photos of some of the game’s biggest stars. Comprised of a tin face and a paper drawing of a clock, the novelty items were not meant to keep time. The “watch” front contained two oblong holes for small black-and-white photos to be inserted. The watch also had a small elastic band, which was made to go around the child’s wrist. A common problem for this child’s toy was rusting because of oxidation.
