1955 Bowman Bobby Layne and Fleer Immortal Paul Brown Signed Card
Out of stock
A little quick trivia for those Detroit Lions fans out there. Who was the last quarterback to guide the Lions to a championship win? Hall of Famer Bobby Layne was the last man to help lead the hapless organization to the promised land. The other central figure of this catalog listing is Paul Brown, the coach who founded and coached the Cleveland Browns for decades. Both placed nearly flawless signatures on the offered football cards. Layne executed a fabulous black ballpoint signature (“10”) on this 1955 Bowman card. “LEGGETT” was written in pencil on the front of the card but has since been erased. Brown brilliantly signed the offered “The Immortals” Fleer card in black felt tip. The signature rates (“9/10”). Two tough Hall of Fame autographs which will make football autograph collectors stand at attention.
