May 28, 1955 – Williams 1955 Debut – Ted Williams made his 1955 baseball debut with the Red Sox today and hit a single to center field in the first inning against Washington. Williams in his fifth comeback got the hit in his first trip to the plate in a regulation game sending Billy Goodman who had walked, to third base. Washington catcher Bruce Edwards is behind the plate.
The signature is in blue felt tip pen and grades a 9/10. Also comes with a JSA Full Letter for top notch authenticity. See photos for condition….
