1955 World Champion Brooklyn Dodgers World Series Press Pin

At the expense of repeating the painfully obvious, the Dodgers of Brooklyn won nine National League pennants through their Ebbets Field tenure. Of those, they suffered defeat in eight World Series. The lone Championship was registered in the Fall Classic of 1955. And perhaps best representing that singular triumph is the press pin that they distributed for the hallowed event. Fashioned without all the flamboyance of contemporary press pins, the ’55 Dodgers is majestically simple, but it was difficult to manufacture according to blueprint.
