1956 Brooklyn Dodgers World Series Press Pin

The 1956 Brooklyn Dodger press pin is acclaimed throughout our industry as the rarest among the entire family of standard post-war press pins. Originally ordered by the Dodgers’ front office in a very meager quantity, nearly all of them were fashioned as elaborately engineered tie clasps such as this one. It has some surface anomalies (minute chipping) in the enamel which are apparent only under close examination. To its credit, though, this one is exceptional in the silver plating of the bat, and the details of the cap are perfect. Overall, it would be accepted at Excellent condition.
