PERFECTION LOT 1956 World Series Perfect Game Yogi Berra & Don Larsen Signed Photo & Ticket Display – COA JSAGo Back
In one of the most iconic images in sports history, catcher Yogi Berra leaped into Don Larsen’s arms after the final out of the 1956 World Series perfect game. With the death of Berra on September 22, 2015, Larsen was the last living player for either team who played in this game, until his death on January 1, 2020, at the age of 90.
Presented is a wonderful display that captures the magical 1956 World Series Don Larsen perfect game. Showcased in the display is an 11×14 custom stylized color photo autographed by both Larsen and his catcher Yogi Berra in blue felt tip (“9”). Larsen added the date inscription, “10-8-56”.
Then, below it you have a 8×10 photo autographed in blue felt tip (“9”) by Larsen also with inscription, “10-8-56”. To the side, there is a black and white 8×10 photo of the leap in arms moment by both Berra and Larsen in blue felt tip (“9”) with the date inscription.
Next, you have a marquee ticket stub from Game 5 that really represents the event. It’s also autographed in blue ballpoint by both Berra and Larsen. The ticket stub itself has some display wear (pin holes, wrinkling etc.). Lastly, below the ticket stub is an additional black and white 8×10 pitching photo autographed by Larsen in black felt tip (“7”) with an inscription, “1956 WS Perfect Game 10/8/56”.
