Presented is a solid Topps baseball card partial set from 1957. The ’57 set features 407 cards each having what is now known as the standard card size. The front features a vertical color portrait with the name, team and position at the bottom. The back features a short biography and stats. The most difficult part of the set to complete is the 4th series (265-352).
This partial set is only missing seven cards (400/407) in the series including: #1 Ted Williams; #20 Hank Aaron; #95 Mickey Mantle; #288 Ted Lepecio; #302 Sandy Koufax; #324 Brooklyn Dodgers and #328) Brooks Robinson rookie.
Key rookies that are included with this set include Don Drysdale; Whitey Herzog; Frank Robinson; Rocky Colavito; Bobby Richardson and Tony Kubek. Key cards that are included are Mantle/Berra Power Hitters; Roberto Clemente; Don Drysdale; Tony Kubek; Giants team set.
The cards are in starter grade condition most featuring creasing, corner wear (i.e. VG) with some better and some less.
