1958 L.A. Dodgers Team-Signed Ball (First Year in Los Angeles)

This quality, albeit unofficial, baseball provides the surface for 20 signatures amounting to the newly re-located Los Angeles Dodgers of 1958. The ball is mildly toned, but not to impair any of the signings. All of these autographs are readily legible to a strength averaging about "6". We first note that our authenticators have deemed the Snider signature to be of the "clubhouse" ilk (though it certainly looks like the real thing). That aside, we delight in the signatures placed by Walt Alston ("8", sweet spot with handwritten notation "1958"), Don Bessent, Gino Cimoli, Don Drysdale ("6"), Carl Erskine, Carl Furillo, Jim Gilliam, Dick Gray, Gil Hodges ("6"), Randy Jackson, Fred Kipp, Norm Larker, Charlie Neal, Don Newcombe, Joe Pignatano, Pee Wee Reese, Johnny Roseboro, Rube Walker, Stan Williams, and Don Zimmer.
