1960 New York Yankees World Series Press Pin

Certainly worthy of the honor, Casey Stengel was featured in the central motif of the Yankees’ 1960 World Series press pin. And, as is sharply remembered by both New York and Pittsburgh fans, that World Series numbers among the most momentous in the annals of the game. For the Yankee share of that Fall Classic, press pins of this offered species were distributed to the attending press corps. This particular pin is exceptional in every regard. While most of its kind evidence deterioration in the plating at the tips of the crown, this one remains brilliant and without tarnish.
