SKU: 47631 Category:

Wonderfully preserved game-used home white flannel worn during the 1960 season by BoSox favorite Ron Jackson – who continues to make history as Boston’s hitting coach during an era in which the club is considered the best-hitting team in MLB history. This beautiful number "5" button-up features all original identifiers and was also donned by Ray Boone and Pinky Higgins the same year.

Optimal use is exhibited throughout the garment including nice numeral wear. Team name and verso number are crafted in classic Red Sox font and rendered in correct two-color midnight navy-on-red felt. Original red piping highlights sleeves and the neckline and which continues down the front button path. Features all proper tagging including Tim McAuliffe manufacturer tag sewn in the tail, as well as " ’60 " year tag. Just as nice as it looks – this is a tremendous vintage specimen.
