Frank Sinatra Los Angeles Dodgers Worn Jacket-c. 1970’s- COA 100% Authentic TeamGo Back
W.A. Goodman & Sons brand Los Angeles Dodgers dugout jacket issued to Frank Sinatra by the Dodgers. The blue jacket features the “Dodgers” team logo in white tackle twill in script lettering. The jacket features a blue and white ribbed elastic collar, cuffs and waistband, with two white stripes on each. The interior of the jacket features tagging from W.A. Goodman & Sons listing the jacket’s size as “42.” The size seems slightly larger than Sinatra would wear as he is more known for a size “38”. However, it is highly likely that the Dodgers organization would order multiple jackets for “Camp Sinatra.” The jacket exhibits some laundering and is consistent with it being issued by the team to Sinatra.
Stitched into the jacket below the Goodman tag is a white fabric panel tag which is blank. This tagging style is consistent with Dodgers Stitched into the back of the jacket is “Sinatra” in arched white tackle twill lettering. Normally, the player identifier would be written on the “blank” name tag under the Goodman manufacturer label. We do not see any markings consistent with Sinatra’s name being identified to the jacket on this interior label. The Goodman tag jacket’s manufacturing label dates it to 1973-81 era.
