1961-63 Ken Hubbs Game Used Bat

Out of stock

SKU: 7628 Category:

Who knows what could have been? After a sensational first season that earned this Cubs youngster a Gold Glove and Rookie of the Year honors in 1962, and another great season in 1963, Hubbs perished in a plane that went down in Provo, Utah a couple of months before 1964 Spring Training. Offered is one of the very few game used bats known to have been used by the beloved star. This signature model Louisville Slugger M159 exhibits moderate use, with ball and stitch marks on the barrel and an eight-inch crack in the handle. Minor deadwood on back of barrel. Length and weight are 34.5 inches and 31 ounces respectively. You can be pretty sure that you’ll be the only guy on your block with one of these bats in his trophy case.
