1961 Chicago White Sox Team-Signed Ball w/Aparicio, Lopez
Out of stock
With much the same force that captured the 1959 American League flag, these White Sox of ’61 yet mustered the talent to finish in the first division. Led by a magnificent middle infield, 26 of that ChiSox roster signed this ball. It’s a quality, but unofficial baseball and, admittedly, some of these signatures resist identity; we’re able to discern all but two. Field General, trong>Al Lopez signed the sweet spot (moderately mussed), and he’s followed by trong>Luis Aparicio, Frank Baumann, Ray Beres (clubhouse), Cam Carreon, Sammy Esposito, trong>Nellie Fox (“trong>7-8”), Joe Ginsberg, Mike Hershberger, Jim Landis, Ted Lepcio (’61 was his only season in Comiskey), Sherm Lollar, J. C. Martin, Cal McLish, Minnie Minoso (weak), Billy Pierce, Juan Pizarro, Floyd Robinson, Bob Roselli, Bob Shaw, Roy Sievers, Al Smith, Jerry Staley, and trong>Early Wynn (weak).
