1962-64 Gordon Maltzberger Game-Worn Twins Cap

As a player, Gordon Maltzberger pitched four seasons for the Chicago White Sox in the 1940’s. This cap was donned by “Maltzy” as a coach for the Twins in 1962-64. The piece exhibits tremendous use, as the sweatband is heavily discolored. The sweatband also features a Wilson [size] “7 1/4” label. The worn-in brim of the cap displays “MALTZ” in black marker on the underside.
