1962 Topps Mike Ditka Rookie Card #17 RC – Graded SGC 5.5

Topps 1962 Football set consists of 176 cards, each measuring 2-1/2” by 3-1/2″. The horizontally-oriented cards feature a player portrait occupying the right side with a smaller in-action shot to the left, as well as the athlete’s name, team name and position. The black borders were prone to chipping, making the set difficult to find in high grade. The 1962 was accompanied by a 48-card “Football Bucks” insert set.

Presented is one of the short-printed rookie cards from the 1962 Topps Football set, Mike Ditka. The rare rookie is card #17 and it was encapsulated and graded SGC EX+ 5.5.
