Description
Prior to the Barbie doll, most doll designs on the toy market were infants. The late-1950s debut of Barbie allowed young girls to dream about their future as career-driven women. They became some of the best-selling dolls of all time with over a billion sold.
Presented is a 1964 Miss Barbie doll which was the first to have bendable legs and the only “sleep” eye Barbie. Her head was a very hard plastic and is known to develop “melt” marks if the wigs are left on for and extended period of time. There are no shoes, wig, wig stand or box with this one.
