Description

Presented is a rare vintage  souvenir fight program to the World Championship bout between Champion Sonny Liston and challenger Cassius Clay (Muhammad Ali) on February 25, 1964 at Miami Beach Convention Hall. Clay took the title by a TKO when Liston failed to answer the bell for the seventh round, stating he had a shoulder injury. This would be the first time these two boxing greats fought. Great photos of both fighters inside along with a load of boxing history and statistics. Period ads abound from cover to cover. Of note, the top portion of the program shows some discolorations.
