1965 A.L. Champion Minnesota Twins Team-Signed Ball

Out of stock

SKU: 42119 Category:

We introduce this team-signed ball to report that one of its signatures has been deemed of the ‘clubhouse’ variety (to wit, Tony Oliva)…per PSA/DNA. Furthermore, the autographs are generally weak (ranging to "2" in strength). Those qualifications aside, however, there are 30 different, bona fide signatures on the surface of the OAL (Cronin) ball which amount to the 1965 American League champion Minnesota Twins. The ball has some mild staining, but not so to impair any of the signings. The average quality of these is about "5", and they detail: Bernie Allen, Bob Allison, Earl Battey, Dave Boswell, Ray Crump (equipment manager), Jerry Fosnow, Jimmie Hall, Jim Kaat, trong>Harmon Killebrew, Jerry Kindall, Johnny Klippstein, Frank Kostro, Jim Lemon, trong>Billy Martin ("5"), Sam Mele, Don Mincher, Mel Nelson, Joe Nossek, Camilo Pascual, Jim Perry, Bill Pleis, Rich Rollins, Johnny Sain, John Sevcik, Dick Stigman, Cesar Tovar, Sandy Valdespino (signed twice), Zoilo Versalles (sweet spot), Al Worthington, and Jerry Zimmerman. That the signing dates precisely to the pennant-winning 1965 season is demonstrated by the inclusion of Mel Nelson and Jerry Kindall who were teammates in the Twin Cities that year only.
