1965 Leon McFadden Game-Worn Astros “Shooting Star” Uniform With “Star” Stirrups
Out of stock
For an Astro fan, it doesn’t get any better than this. The team that has always had colorful and cutting-edge jerseys had a winner with this rare shooting-star style, which Leon McFadden wore in the 1965 season. The flannel jersey shows very light game use but retains its vibrant colors. Also included in this complete uniform are the lightly used pants and navy blue stirrups. The size “40” flannel jersey masterfully captures the Astros logo in chenille on the front. The identifiers are sewn on in two-color felt. A Wilson swatch and chain-stitched “65” are in the tail. The left sleeve features an Astros patch. A Wilson swatch is applied in the waistline, in which “26-1965-3” and “50” are stitched. This is a choice example of one of the more popular jersey styles ever offered.
