1969 Pittsburgh Pirates Team-Signed Ball (Roberto Clemente, Willie Stargell)
Out of stock
Tempered with a generous dose of good luck, the ’69 Mets emerged as the season’s final victor. Not for want of talent, the Pirates could claim little more than third place in the National League East. This squad, though, gave customers their money’s worth every day, and now only two years distant there awaited their pot of gold. Meanwhile, 1969 that is, 25 of those Buccos signed this ONL (Giles) baseball. Many of these signatures are light, but nearly all of them are immediately legible. Manager Larry Shepard inked the sweet spot, and thereafter we note – Matty Alou, Al Oliver, Roberto Clemente (“7-8”), Chuck Hartenstein, John Jeter, Carl Taylor, Jim Bunning, Fred Witt, Manny Sanguillan, Alex Grammas, Gary Kolb, Tony Bartirome, Bruce Dal Canton, Willie Stargell (“5”), Dock Ellis, Sam Narron, Gene Garber, Bob Veale, Bill Mazeroski, Joe Gibbon, Luke Walker, Jose Pagan, Vern Law and one other.
