1969 Washington Senators Game-Worn Road Flannel Pants

SKU: 17749 Category:

The Washington Senators, who later became the Texas Rangers, had the greatest hitter to ever live lead them in 1969. Ted Williams began his coaching foray in 1969 and was at the helm for four years. These pants originate from 1969 and were worn by Dave Baldwin, a relief pitcher. After being used in the Major Leagues they were obviously handed down for minor league use because there are numerous repairs to the both knees and the crotch area. “Penner” and “Bowers” (most likely minor league players) are written in black felt-tip marker and a Wilson tag and “37-1969P65-27″-35W” is embroidered into the waistline.
