1970 L. A. Dodgers Team-Signed Ball (w/Alston)
Out of stock
As it shakes out, all the players who signed this ball were rostered together in both 1969 and ’70. They’re Dodgers, to be sure, but we determine that the ball was signed, necessarily, in 1970 – this we may determine by virtue of its being an ONL Feeney, whose simulated signature superceded Warren Giles in 1970. There are but 18 autographs on the ball. However, these signers constituted the central thrust of the Dodger squad that finished second in the National League West that season. All of these signings are crisp and legible, projecting at “8-9” in quality. Skipper trong>Walt Alston appears singularly on the sweet spot. In turn, we note: Jim Brewer, Willie Crawford, Willie Davis, Len Gabrielson, Billy Grabarkowitz, Tom Haller, Ray Lamb, Jim Lefebvre, Manny Mota, Claude Osteen, Wes Parker, Bill Russell, Bill Singer, Bill Sudakis, trong>Don Sutton, Jeff Torborg, and Maury Wills.
