1970’s Joe Simpson Game-Worn LA Dodgers Cap

In 1979, Joe Simpson became the first Mariner to have five hits in a game. The serviceable outfielder spent four seasons with the team, and earlier wore this Dodgers cap during the 1970’s. Salt remnants from sweat are visible on the outside rear of the cap. A New Era tag and unreadable size tag are affixed to the inside. The number “17” is written in black marker under the brim.
