1970s Jose Cardenal Cubs Satin Warm-Up Jacket
Out of stock
The colorful Cuban All-Star joined the Cubbies in 1972, and kicked butt for six seasons. He led the team in hitting (.303) and was named Player of the Year by the Chicago baseball writers in ’73. He would later help the Phillies and Royals win division titles and a World Championship, notably ending his Major League career batting .340 down the stretch for Kansas City and starting two games in right field during the 1980 World Series. This “Wilson “[size] 38” satin jacket is the perfect representation of the player and era, screaming “70’s!” All proper tagging and specs, with original embroidered patch, and Jose’s number “1” inked on the Wilson tag in blue ballpoint. Displays none of the typical fraying and pulls common to this type of special jacket.
