1970s Steve Garvey Signed, Game-Issued Bat

Steve Garvey was part of the longest tenured infield at first base with the Dodgers. Garvey had this bat issued to him in the late 1970s during those Dodger days. The bat does not show any use attributes but does have Garvey’s jersey number “6” in black felt tip on the knob (has some tape residue) and the resting portion of the barrel. Garvey signed his name in black felt tip on the hitting area. There is a light top coating that was applied to preserve the quality of the signature. Also to note, there is a smoke defect on the handle.
