1973 NFL HOF Induction Parade Car Signed Placards w/ Brown, Strong, Tunnel, McAfee, et al.
Out of stock
One-of-a-kind signed momentos from Canton’s 1973 Pro Football HOF Induction Day Parade with rare vintage signatures. These are two of the actual placards from that year’s parade cars, and signed by the Hall of Famers onboard. Card #1 is a 5 x 7 inch gem, featuring the bold ink signatures of Emlen Tunnel (Class of 1967), Ken Strong (1967), Paul Brown (1967), “Ace” Parker (1972), Mel Hein (Charter Member, 1963), Jack Christiansen (1970), George McAfee (1966), and Leo Nomellini (1969). Card #2 is larger, 10 x 9″, perhaps in deference to the celebrity of its sole passenger, Elroy “Crazy-Legs” Hirsh (1968), and signed “Crazylegs Hirsh” in black marker. This group would likely fill a hole or two (or three) in many vintage collections. All autographs are near perfect, and all but McAfee and Parker are deceased.
