1973 Rocky Marciano Commemorative Jim Beam Figural Decanter, SEALED with Contents.
Very impresssive and collectable 35-year-old sealed decanter from American distiller Jim Beam, celebating the life and career of Rocky Marciano, with original red, white and blue embossed ribbon correctly stating, "The World’s Only Undefeated Boxing Champion." This is a gem of a specimen and all original as produced by Regal China for Beam; bright and clean with perfect labels and ceramic details, including a figural boxing glove topper and Romanesque bust of Rocky set amidst a rough hewn block of granite – a fitting metaphor to honor one of the toughest pugilists to ever enter the square circle. Decanter is still sealed with its original contents: 4/5 quart of premium 86 proof "Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey." It had been aged "100 Months" at time of distribution in 1970 – that’s 35 years ago. 10-1/2" tall.  Mild storage wear. (This piece is offered as a collectible container.
