Description

Tim McCarver is an American sportscaster and former professional baseball catcher. McCarver played for the St. Louis Cardinals, Philadelphia Phillies, Montreal Expos and Boston Red Sox between 1959 and 1980. He appeared in the MLB All-Star Game in 1966 and 1967, and was the starting catcher for the World Series champion St. Louis Cardinals in 1964 and 1967.

Presented is a pullover style game worn batting practice jersey Tim McCarver wore for the Cardinals in 1973. The front has the Cardinals logo across the front in black/red tackle twill. The front tail tag shows it has Rawlings tagging. His jersey number “15” is on the back in the same black/red tackle twill. Both the collar and sleeve ends are elasticized in red, white and black. Overall, shows nice wear.
