Description
What is affectionately known as the Rumble in the Jungle (Sept. 25, 1974), Muhammad Ali and George Foreman duked it out in one of the most brutal fights in Zaire, Africa. The fight was remarkable in that many figured Ali’s days of ruling the boxing world were numbered. He was striped of his heavyweight title following his refusal to serve in the Vietnam War. This would be the fight which Ali regained his top spot at the boxing landscape.
Presented is an original fight program from the event. Even though it has traveled all the way from Africa, the program remains in EX condition with slight wear on the binding, corners and top edge. It is 16 pages long and written in French. Also included is a a colorful green, red, yellow and black ticket stub with wear on the corners from the event. It is in VG-EX condition. The ticket features Leroy Neiman’s rendition of both fighters.
