1975 Bucky Dent Game-Worn White Sox Jersey
Out of stock
Before Bucky Dents resounding home run in the 1978 AL playoff game to once again break the hearts of Red Sox fans, he was a matinee idol on Chicagos South Side for the Pale Hose. Dents smile was as Hollywood-handsome as this jersey is gorgeous. It’s a rare, light blue double knit with brilliant red and white contrasting trim, numerals and team identifiers. The underscore script “Chicago” front with chenille-stitched mini WHITE SOX was one of the eras finest, and the jersey also sports 3 ¾ sleeve numerals and oversized 8 ¾ back numerals. The inner collar and button path are lined with light-blue satin, and the former holds a light-blue knit swatch with chenille-stitched Dent. A Wilson (size) “40” label appears in the tail along with a 75 Set 1 swatch. A ‘perfect 10,’ even in the eyes of a die-hard Boston fan.
