1976 Lou Brock Game-Worn Cardinals Cap, Rare One-Season Pill Box Style

St. Louis orchestrated one of baseball’s biggest heists when it swindled Lou Brock away from the Chicago Cubs. The rest, as they say, is history. Brock went on to become one of baseball’s biggest stars in the 1960s and ’70s en route to a Hall of Fame career. This pill box style cap, [size] “7”, was worn by Brock in 1976. The unique style was used by the Cardinals that season only. A New Era tag is sewn into the inner headband, which exhibits noticeable sweat staining. “20” is written in black marker on the underside.
