The 1977 Los Angeles Dodgers season had Tommy Lasorda replace longtime manager Walter Alston as Manager of the team. The Dodgers won the National League West by 10 games and defeated the Philadelphia Phillies in four games in the NLCS, then lost to the New York Yankees in the World Series.
Presented in tribute to the 1977 Los Angeles Dodgers National League Championship victory is this salesman sample ring commemorating it. It’s a Don Sutton model ring and is gold tone with a central blue synthetic stone sapphire and four clear stones. One side has an airplane -LA 1977 embossed and the other features Sutton Dodgers 20. The inner band features an engraving SA144 2588 BKC. It’s 10k gold with a ring size of 11. Ring itself shows signs of mild wear. What makes this highly collectible is the sourcing. This originated directly from a Balfour representative.
