1978 Dell Alston / 1979 Jay Johnstone Game-Worn Jersey Signed Yankees (Thruman Munson Armband) – COA BAS & Grey Flannel – send back

This New York Yankees jersey was worn in 1978 by Dell Alston and then recycled to the 1979 season and worn by Jay Johnstone. Autographed on front by Jay Johnstone in black felt tip (“9”).

On the left front tail is the “Wilson” manufacturers size 42 tag with wash instructions. Inside the back collar is the “Alston 78 1” embroidered strip tag. On the front left breast is the “NY” interlocking logo in navy blue tackle twill. On the back is the player number “27” in navy blue tackle twill. There is a black armband on the left sleeve for the death of Thurman Munson during the 1979 season, which has been replaced.  The jersey shows game-use and besides the aforementioned appears to have no other alterations of any kind.
