1979 Al Oliver Game-Issued, Signed Glove

In 18 big league seasons, Al Oliver accumulated over 2,700 hits and finished with a .303 lifetime average – pretty impressive numbers. This Rawlings Pro 2 HF fast back model glove, with dual post H-webbing, was issued to Oliver for use in the 1979 season. The gorgeous piece is fashioned from “Heart of the “Hide” leather and divulges a faint signature in black felt tip. Oliver’s name is written on the glove as well. No apparent use is shown beyond a few light abrasions on the exterior.
