Description
Ben Oglivie earned the nickname Spiderman because he could scale the wall and rob the opposition of home runs on a regular basis. The popular outfielder could hit a lick, too, as he was the 1980 American League home run champ. He wore these shiny Mizuno size-“9” cleats in his Brewer years. Light use is shown and Mizuno’s “M” is brilliantly cut in zig-zag fashion on the side of each. The original Mizuno pouch in which these came in is also included on this pair of cleats worn by one of Harvey’s Wallbangers’ favorite sons. Oglivie signed the bottom of the right shoe (“9”) in blue felt tip. The cleats come from a former Oakland A’s batboy and include a signed letter from him.
