1980s Cal Ripken Game-Worn, Signed Orioles Cleats

Baseball had one of its best ambassadors in Cal Ripken Jr. There was never a need to worry about Cal ending up in the police blotter or being associated with steroids. He was a class citizen who showed up to work every single day.

Ripken fit into these Adidas cleats during his days in the big leagues. One photo on Getty Images (51455517) matches the stripes which are shown on this catalog listing. Heavy use is exhibited with scuff marks and wear on the leather exterior. The metal cleats show extensive wear, and there are still soil remnants on the bottoms. "8" is written on the heel in faded marker for identification. Ripken signed the right shoe in silver paint pen.
